banktree is simplifying your budgeting one month at a time
Why banktree?
If you live in the west, you have access to great personal budgeting applications like YNAB!, Mint (rip đĒĻ), copilot, and many more. Once you move to a different country though, say South Korea or Japan, you will likely run into the problem where most of your spending is done with a foreign bank account and these apps no longer serve their purpose.
Now you have the problem, where you don't have access to the nice features (automatic transaction import) but you are still on the hook for the bill đĄ. With banktree, we are trying to solve this problem, by providing a platform for manual budgeting and spending tracking for free, and then giving you the bells and whistles of auto-importing as a paid feature.
About the team
Currently we are a team of 1 đ. Banktree was built by Keevan Dance as a solution to a problem faced when moving from the US to South Korea. After building this solution, it was thought that others could benefit from its usefulness which is it was opened up for others to use
